PINEL - Delta

I started this track in 2016 and over the years the track has morphed and evolved. I started this track as an outlet for expressing an emotion of the time in which I was writing. Every time I have opened the song to work on it since 2016, the track invoked those same emotions.

In mathematics, Delta refers to the difference between two values or things. While writing “Delta,” I felt a strong sense of changes occurring in my life. As time passed, many aspects of life grew and evolved.

Subconsciously or not, the dynamics between the sporadic and hectic synth chords juxtaposed with the sparse percussion and the smooth flow of keys, guitar, and ambient chord progressions created a natural tension and release, much like life. As the arrangement evolves, so does the production to invoke a continually growing musical backdrop.
